Who Reminds Me to Vote?

Virginia does not mail sample ballots or “remember to vote” postcards to all voters. Instead, each locality posts sample ballots online before every election. You can view yours through your local registrar’s website. Voters who join the Permanent Absentee (Vote-by-Mail) List automatically receive a ballot before each election — the closest thing to an automatic reminder to vote.
