Annual Meeting

Quorum

• Held annually in 4th quarter of the League's fiscal year
• Quorum is 10% of League members in good standing

Duties

The Annual Meeting must include:

• Treasurer Report 
• Budget Committee Report and a vote to adopt the Report's proposed budget
  • Proposed Budget must be sent one month in advance of the annual meeting and in writing to League membership
• Nominating Committee Report
  • Proposed slate must be sent one month in advance of the annual meeting and in writing to League membership
  • Membership vote to elect Officers and Directors as proposed in the Report
• Adopt Bylaws Changes (if any)  
  • Proposed bylaws changes must be submitted one month In advance of the annual meeting and in writing to League membership
  • 2/3 of voting members present at the Annual Meeting must approve changes
• Adopt a Program
  • Board must send out a proposed program one month in advance of the annual meeting and in writing to League membership
  • Must adopt a local program for ensuing year (Article IX bylaws)
  • Majority of vote at Annual Meeting required to adopt the LWV-WA program
