Members and friends are invited to attend John Lewis Day of Action: Good Trouble Lives On in Williamsburg.
This local event is part of a national weekend of action honoring Congressman John Lewis and his legacy of voting rights, civil rights, and civic participation.
The Williamsburg event is hosted by Williamsburg-JCC Indivisible, and LWV-Williamsburg is a local co-sponsor.
Incoming LWV-Williamsburg President Denise Harrington will be one of the speakers, along with Charles Gates, president of the York-James City-Williamsburg NAACP.
Participants are invited to bring signs, a cold beverage, and a chair if needed.
