Main Street Library (NNPL)
Mrs. Andrea Miller, Director of the Center for Common Ground, will give a virtual
presentation on phone banking, post carding, and canvassing.
Peninsula Unit: Is a new League unit serving the Virginia Peninsula, organized with the support of the League of Women Voters of the Williamsburg Area. The Peninsula Unit’s work will center in Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, and parts of York County.
Location: Hilton Columbus Downtown, Columbus, Ohio.
Registration: Opens in January 2026.

Theme: The 2026 convention focuses on protecting and defending democracy, with proposed initiatives
including the "Women Defend Democracy: Democracy Under Siege" campaign,
focusing on voting rights, election protection, and reproductive freedom.
Activities: Plenary sessions, workshops, caucuses, and election of the LWVUS Board of Directors.
Action Items: Delegates will review and amend the LWVUS bylaws, adopt a budget, and set the 2026-2028 program
