HANDS OFF!

NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION!

On Saturday April 5th, LWV and organizations nationwide are coming together for a national day of action called HANDS OFF!

LWVUS is a partner organization for Hands Off!

We will demonstrate people taking action to stop corruption and power grabs. Over 700 events are planned nationwide. Let your family and friends know. For more information visit the event website

In the Williamsburg Area, Williamsburg JCC Indivisible, another Hands Off! partner organization, is hosting a Hands Off! Rally at the WJCC Courthouse (5201 Monticello Ave.) on Saturday, April 5, from 2:00-4:00 pm.

Normally, League members attend such events as private citizens and do not display League buttons or League branded signs. However, due to the importance of this national event, LWVUS allows members to identify as League members. Bring friends and signs.

Thursdays—Rise for Freedom: Nationwide Mass Trainings 

Starting April 3, the Rise for Freedom coalition will host a series of live, hybrid online training sessions designed for in-person groups nationwide, spanning 7 weeks. The goal is to bring people together, grow & strengthen local networks, and get ready to mobilize to demand democracy in this new challenging environment.
