City Council and Planning Commission meetings are streamed live and archived on WMSBG Cable Channel 48, Facebook, YouTube, and the city’s eMeetings Portal.

• City Council: 2 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday each month; work sessions held the preceding Monday at 4 p.m.
• Planning Commission: Meeting schedule and agendas are listed in the city calendar.
• Electoral Board: Typically meets the 1st Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 401 Lafayette Street.

Meetings are streamed live on JCC TV (Channel 48) and available on demand through the county’s Live Stream page and YouTube channel. Past Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors meetings are also archived on the county’s On Demand page.

• Board of Supervisors: 2nd Tuesday at 5 p.m. (regular meeting); 4th Tuesday at 1 p.m. (business meeting).
• Planning Commission: Meets monthly; agenda and minutes are available online.
• Electoral Board: Meeting notices are posted by the Registrar’s Office.

The Williamsburg–James City County School Board meets twice monthly, typically on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in the School Board and Central Office building. Meeting details and documents are available through WJCC BoardDocs. Livestreams and archives are also available on the school division’s site.

Beginning November 12, 2025, York County consolidated its government programming into a single channel: Cox Channel 86 / Verizon Channel 2138. You can read more on the county’s TV Stations & Video Services page. Programs are also available on the York County YouTube Channel.

• Board of Supervisors: 6 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month (except July and November).
• Planning Commission: 2nd Wednesday at 7 p.m. at York Hall.
• Electoral Board: Meeting notices are posted by the York County Registrar’s Office.
• York County School Board: Meeting information and broadcasts are available on the YCSD-TV website and the county’s YouTube channel.
