We will host a panel of advocates speaking on their special areas, with some time for Q&A. Denise Harrington, Advocacy Chair for LWV of Virginia will moderate. Meet our panel:
- Kyra Cook. Kyra is a former W/JCC School Board Chair and current Director of Special Projects at Colonial Behavioral Health. She will focus on challenges for school boards in Virginia.
- Tim Cywinski. Tim currently leads public relations and political communications efforts of the Sierra Club Virginia Chapter with a focus on ensuring the public and press has a firm grasp on climate solutions and environmental justice. Tim will speak about climate change and its effect on the coastal ecology.
- Han Jones (they/them). Han is the political director of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia. Han will speak about women's reproductive issues.
